Quote of the Day from our Progressive Schools Dept:
Do you know how difficult it is to walk into a classroom of 25 enthusiastic pre-service teachers and try to explain to them that sociopaths are destroying TN public schools and turning their profession over to profiteers and fools and they will be forced to endure disgraceful mistreatment if they stay in the state to teach?

Still, you should read Paul Krugman's piece that lays it all out plain and simple: Krugman
Quote of the Day
Interviewer Susan Bankston:
How did Rick Perry get to where he is today with these rumors about him floating all over Texas?Author Glen Maxey:
I think he’s just an ignorant, uneducated politician who has lucked his way into enriching a butt-load of people who saw the ka-ching! ka-ching! of the presidency as a continuation of their slot machine. They’d look past anything to install their boy toy into this position.Hmmm??? Why does sound familiar? The interview is HERE.
