Here's a similar ad with Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords' name on it.
Response for the Palin camp:
"We never ever, ever intended it to be gun sights. It was simply cross-hairs like you'd see on maps," said Rebecca Mansour on the Tammy Bruce radio show. Moreover, there was "nothing irresponsible" about the image, and to draw a line connecting Palin and Saturday's shooting is "obscene" and "appalling."
Only there is this from Sarah herself:
Don't forget John McCain. He created this monster and he has become a hate filled old man since he was beaten by Obama. My heart is filled with sorrow right now, that lives were lost in such a useless manner. I grieve for the parents of a nine year old girl who was just curious about politics. So senseless.
ReplyDeleteI think there is plenty of evidence that many Republicans have gone over to the dark side but you need to give us the quote that shows McCain to be inciting violence.
ReplyDeleteI did not say he was citing violence. I said that he created the monster, Sarah Palin. Only Alaska had heard from her prior to her selection for vice presidential candidate.
ReplyDeleteI understand what you mean. I tend to view Palin as a symptom of an unprincipled political party run by megalomaniacs and sociopaths who pick empty vessels such as Palin to repeat their message.
