Some Kind of Tipping Point Here: Is Trump Mobster or a Dictator

Clipped from The New Republic piece:

It was perhaps inevitable that Trump would run into conflict with the likes of Comey, Bharara, and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates (whom Trump also fired, after she refused to defend his executive order banning people from seven Muslim-majority countries). Trump supporters might dismiss these figures as Washington insiders—inhabitants of “the swamp”—but they are more accurately seen as representatives of the legal and administrative state. They are all experts in the law and bureaucracy; they know the rules, understand why the rules exist, and enforce them. In other words, they are the polar opposite of Trump, an anti-professional to whom laws were meant to be broken.

Note to America...Donald Trump is Dangerously Delusional, at Best...

How do you explain this statement from Donald Trump?

“Dems are taking forever to approve my people,” the president said in a statement he released on Twitter Monday morning. “They are nothing but OBSTRUCTIONISTS! Want approvals.”

When Trump took office, about half of all Federal Prosecutors resigned. Attorney General Sessions fired the rest of them when he was approved by Congress. That was several months ago. To date, not one Federal Prosecutor position has been filled. Trump blames democrats for obstructing his nominees.

The New York Times:

The problem is, the Democrats couldn’t obstruct any United States attorney nominations if they wanted to because Mr. Trump has not made any.

Face it....We have a seriously messed up man in the Oval Office!

"Secret" Documents Prove Trump Lied When He Claimed There Was "NO Evidence" of Russia Helping Him Win Election

I think we, as Americans, have to fave up to the fact that this is a threat to the very idea of America as a Democracy:

In addition to being the strongest indication so far that Russia interfered in the U.S. election, the document also indicates that Russian hackers may have "penetrated further into U.S. voting systems than was previously understood," The Intercept, which first published the document, reported.

The intelligence community determined in 2016 that there was ample evidence of Russian interference in the election, and that Russian president Vladimir Putin was directly involved. The intelligence community also concluded that Putin specifically chose to help candidate Trump at the cost of Hillary Clinton and to cast her in an unfavorable light.

Woman Who Leaked Information on Russians Hacking Presidential Election Arrested

I'll ask the question everybody else is tip toeing around..."What happens if we get incontrovertible proof that Russia threw the election to Trump?"
"Though the report does not draw any conclusions on whether the cyberattack influenced the outcome of the election, it is the first piece of evidence that has come to light that not only did Russian hackers meddle in the 2016 election by stealing and distribute damaging campaign communications, but also went after America’s election infrastructure itself. The document also undermines Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent assertion that allegations his government interfered in the U.S. political process are a “fiction.”"

Dammit...I am going to have to send some money to Josh Marshall for his efforts at New American Journalism!

Let's Face It...We Have a President Gone Rogue!

If Republicans didn't control all three houses of United States government, several Trump administration players would already be under indictment.

Here's a rundown of the Russian connections, which tread dangerously close to acts of treason from what we know already. Who knows what we'll uncover as we go forward...
