Cheney's Halliburton Admits Obstruction of Justice...Which Corporate Person Will Do the Time?

Halliburton has admitted destroying evidence in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico and will plead guilty to a criminal charge, the Justice Department announced Thursday.

The Kids on the Left Are All Right

The Young Democrats at the University of Memphis have been giving some thought to Whether or not Tennessee needs another Term of Bill Haslam as Governor and who might be a good person to replace him:
This laundry list of scandals, mismanagement, and disregard for the livelihood of Tennesseans is emblematic of the leadership crisis facing our state. Haslam’s passion for political patronage endangers the welfare of ordinary Tennesseans and threatens to cause serious long-term damage to the state we all love. For the good of the state, Tennesseans need a candidate for governor whose leadership offers a clear contrast with Gov. Haslam and his self-serving Capitol Hill cronies.

TN Congress Critter Calls GW Bush Enviro-Leftist

I'm thinking about taking down the Hunter fans I have mounted all over my house...
Tennessee Republican Marsha Blackburn offered the policy rider to the Energy-Water appropriations bill (HR 2609), saying companies such as Memphis, Tenn.-based Hunter Fans cannot afford burdensome regulations that would drive up the price of products. The amendment, which would block funding for writing the regulations, was adopted by voice vote.
I mean really...
The relevant law was passed in 2005 under the tyranny of the Bush administration and a set of House Republicans that, let's face it, were nothing more than a pack of jackbooted environmentalist thugs. Real Republicans know that energy efficiency standards are anti-Jesus. Or more to the point, the current Congress is just made up of crooks, since the old law was enacted to avoid state-by-state regulations of the same thing:
